    This conference is for everyone with an interest in global value chains and climate change. As the second most traded commodity the coffee value chain serves as an excellent example of the challenges and possible solutions related to sustainable global trade.

    Programme:

    9.00 - 10.30 Peter Baker, Commonwealth Agricultural Bureaux International (CABI)
    - How does climate change affect coffee production (and poverty)?
    - How does the value chain for coffee production affect the climate?
    - Are certifications making an impact to reduce negative climate effects through the supply chain?

    11.00 - 12.30 Panel discussion
    The panel will address the question: how do actors in the global coffee value chain most effectively contribute to CO2 reduction?
